There’s so much to look forward to as we reopen our big, red farm gates for the new season.

Opening weekend on 19th and 20th March, offers a taste of the very best of Cogges, from seasonal food to family activities, feeding farm animals to cooking demonstration in the manor house. So wrap up warm, grab your wellies, and come to Cogges to celebrate spring:

 

  • Spot the shoots and buds of spring emerge in the walled Garden, and plant your own seedlings to take home
  • Say hello to the animals, and see Oxford Sandy and Black pigs, ponies, pygmy goats, rare breed chickens, sheep, Indian runner ducks, farm cats, rabbits and guinea pigs
  • Take a tour of the manor house and visit the working kitchens, with cooking on the Victorian range
  • Join in family craft activities and defend the Cogges Castle fort in the woods  
  • Sample the tasty new menu in The Cogges Kitchen
  • Relax and listen to live music from local musicians
