The Witch's House - Halloween Half Term

It has long been said that the 13th century Manor House at Cogges, is home to spirits and ghouls...

Now, we don't know about that, but for one week only, it is going to be transformed into a magical coven by the freindliest witch around.

Flying in for 9 days over October half term, she will transform the usually serene rooms into a spooky trail of lights, potions, pumpkins and more.


Each day of half term, a dastardly difficult, coded trail will take children through the Manor House in order to win a prize from the witch's cauldron.  £3 to complete.  A less dastardly pumpkin trail will be in place for smaller children in the Manor House courtyard!

Children can also carve and decorate pumpkins in our cafe courtyard 10am - 3pm, £2.50 per pumpkin. Parental supervision required.


Monday - Friday, between 10am and 2pm, the witch's cats will be hosting different activities for children to enjoy, so pop in for the most spell binding half term around:


Monday:  Edible Wands

Wizards and wiches in training can make their own wands, using chocolate, sprinkles, marshmallow fluff and more...

Tuesday: Clay Creatures

Prepare to get messy and create clay creatures that are only limited by your imagination

(free with entry/season ticket)


Wednesday: Broom Stick Making

Create your very own broom with kindling and natural materials. 

(Small additional charge due to material costs)


Thursday: Slime Making

Ectoplasm at it's best, with home made slime making

Friday: Spellbinding Forest School 

Mandy from Hedgehog Club, will be running a free, Halloween themed forest school in our wood.  Come dressed to get muddy and messy.
