Adult learning programme

We offer a range of adult learning workshops and training throughout the year - from art club, yoga, mindfulness and wellbeing to rural crafts, sewing and weaving to gardening, growing, cooking and pickling to chicken or bee keeping or traditional skillsharing. Our workshops and sessions are led by industry experts, experienced tutors, skilled volunteers and established educational organisations.

If you'd like to offer your skills or discuss potential partnerships, support or funding, please contact our Learning & Community Engagement Manager, Laura Dean. Tel: 01993 772602 | Email:

Our programme of adult learning is currently in its development phase. We're looking forward to introducing a range of workshops and sessions from September, supported by funding from the National Heritage Lottery Fund.

Keep checking back to see what's coming up or sign up for our enewsletter for regular updates.

Traditional skills

Get hands-on with our rural skills sessions. Cogges is a heritage site situated over 17 acres of land and we develop traditional rural craft skills in line with our land management and heritage projects. We offer workshops, courses and skillshares in partnership with organisations such as The Wychwood Project, along with a range of skilled trainers and volunteers in woodcarving, weaving, dry stone walling, hedgelaying, scything, coppicing, crafting corn dollies, traditional cooking skills and more.

We offer seasonal workshops in gardening, pruning, growing vegetables and herbs, cooking with edible flowers, pickling, foraging and more. Sessions are led by Educate and our expert volunteers.
