Sculpture a hare out of clay or willow

Join Ros and Rachel on this fabulous hare making day - they will be running two workshops simultaneously in the Barley Barn at Cogges. You can choose to either make a willow hare or ceramics hare, whichever you choose you will be guided all the way through to producing your own sculpture. 10 places available on each workshop.

  1. Ceramic Hare Workshop - all the materials and firing is included to produce your lovely ceramic hare. All work will be taken away for firing to be collected at a later date or can be posted for an additional charge.
  2. Willow Hare Workshop - you will learn all the techniques needed to produce a 3ft hare for your garden, all tools and materials will be supplied.

The workshop runs from 10am and we suggest you arrive from 9.30 to get settled in and grab a drink. The café is open from 9am or you can bring your own food and drinks. Please dress appropriately

A bit about the course leaders

Ros Ingram - born in Stratford upon Avon, Ros received a BA hon’s degree in ceramics from the university of Wolverhampton in 1999. She has exhibited throughout Europe, Dubai and California. Ros undertakes commissions and runs adult ceramic workshops on a regular basis .

Rachel Harwood - drawing on her experience of wildlife and nature, Rachel uses British grown willow from the Somerset levels to create sculptures for the home and garden. She loves to inspire people on the use and beauty of natural materials to reconnect with the natural world.
