If you're passionate about old cars, you'll be excited to hear that Cogges will be hosting The 1100 Club National Rally over the weekend of 13 - 14 August. Access to the rally is free with a valid entry ticket to Cogges Manor Farm The 1100 Club was formed in 1985 to cater for owners of the BMC 1100/1300 range of cars - also known as the ADO16 - including Austin, Morris, Wolseley, MG, Riley, Vanden Plas and Innocenti.
The BMC 1100/1300 was the best selling car in the UK throughout most of the 1960s, and almost everyone of a certain age has a link with them! Did you learn to drive in an Austin 1100? Did your parents pack you into a Morris 1300 Traveller plus dog and camping gear to tour the Alps back in August 1967? Whatever it was, do come along and see a superb range of these cars on display, chat to the owners and help us celebrate a very special year - sixty years since the car was first launched.
